With a profound dedication to serving others, Rose has cultivated her clinical expertise over years of compassionate work. She adopts a holistic approach to care, recognizing the intricate interplay of psychosocial, psychological, and physical factors in individuals and their families facing challenges.

Rose specializes in working with individuals facing a range of disabilities, including but not limited to physical, sensory, developmental, cognitive, and mental health challenges. In her work with brain injury survivors, she provides evidence-based cognitive rehabilitation for individuals with impairments in attention, memory, executive functioning, visuo-spatial, and communication as a result of trauma, stroke, anoxia, aneurysms, and brain tumors. Furthermore, Rose provides sensory stimulation and conducts standardized neuro-behavioral assessments to monitor the neuro-cognitive recovery of individuals with disorders of consciousness (DOC).

Her work as a vocational rehabilitation counselor has focused on providing counseling that identifies and dismantles systemic barriers. This involves addressing racial and socioeconomic disparities, combating the stigma associated with substance use disorders, recognizing and treating co-occurring mental health disorders, and advocating for individuals with criminal records who may face disenfranchisement.

By understanding the multifaceted dimensions of an individual’s disability, illness, or injury, Rose fosters meaningful connections with her clients, facilitating collaborative efforts that lead to successful and fulfilling outcomes.
